That show went on for WAY too long, that’s why they left.

Energy was gone after the Kofi match.

I was in the building breh. I agree it was a very long show and a cold evening but the only time people actually got up and left was right before the "main event" began. As they were doing their entrances, there were lines of people headed to the exits.

Not surprised they gave HBK and MAGA Taker the #1 spot. Both are company men.

Yeah i was there too, bro it ended at almost 1am and the preshow started at 5. I left after the last pin and was stuck in traffic for like, two hours getting out of Metlife.

Crowd was just exhausted and wanted to get the fukk outta here but the match was really good

Our hotel wasn't too far away so it didn't take us long to get back. We went to a few shows that weekend. The traffic was way worse in Manhattan and Brooklyn, so fukking packed Lol. I told one of my friends he was crazy for wanting to drive everywhere

I think that HBK/Undertaker match was overrated, #1 should be Bret vs Austin
It really wasn't. The intros themselves was incredible story telling, the match was intense, I thought hbk had a serious chance to break the streak, and the match was thrilling all thru. It was the most acceptable finish spam match ever.

It was a great match but I'd go with Bret/Stone Cold. Everything from their brawl to the ending and SCSA gushing, not tapping out, not submitting and the whole double turn. It doesn't get better than that IMO
Sure, that is very fair of course. Just saying them at #1 isn't just because they're company men. If you're saying that they're 1 over 2 because of that, not sure I agree but fair enough.

That's what I'm saying. Bret and Austin are getting inducted this year for that match. If HBK/Taker was truly the best then it should have been the first inductee.

But it's not criminal that it's #1

We were exhausted by the time we left New York that weekend :mjlol: If there's a thing as "too much wrestling" it was definitely that. We went to 3 shows

I bet bro thats wild, i watched the Subway Royal Rumble guys before the show started in the parking lot and got inside at like 5:45? Main Event got in the ring at like, 12?

By 10pm I had NO voice. And honestly as hyped as I was for the main event I was falling asleep.

I preferred their match at 26, since it was HBK's final match

Figure this match will be 1, and the crazy irony that this was like a mainstream match of what was popping off in the indies. While the match was GOATed, it was a monkey paw that created a mess of false finish overdrawn long ass matches :francis:
