Wrestling sucks because the storylines are clearly storylines ever since South Park exposed them and showed us it's clearly a sub par soap opera it's just not the same Ex. The Demon Kane and weirdo Kane thing ruined my whole childhood I can't sit back and force myself to think wrestling is real wit the bs they've been doing

When is the last time a guy comes out of nowhere to squash the whole roster and the fans are cool with it? Especially in the internet/NXT era? These guys are overexposed.

The only problem with this is that we are unfortunately in the "Indie" era and fans want a guy that looks like Daniel Bryan rather than a strong looking dude like Goldberg,Batista etc...

Back in the 80's the Vince led WWF was like a minstrel show of wrestling. All of the best matches and storylines were in the NWA and WCW which had Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair and the Four Horseman, Sting, Lex Luger, the Road Warriors etc.

Vince was the goat when it came to marketing and promotion but the overall quality sucked. I stopped watching wrestling mostly because I grew up, but the other part was due to the death of the NWA/WCW as it was constructed in the 80's. Once everything was dominated by Vince and the WWE or whatever you call it, shyt started to go down hill. And yeah names like Stone Cold and The Roc's names ring out but wrestling will never be like it was in the mid/late 80's.

They gotta do something. If not for my blind love of wrestling and tsc threads, I wouldn't watch the product at all.

Its s like a crack habit, been chasing that attitude era high for 15 years now smh..

I don't think there's anything they can do to give ratings a big boost in the short term - unless some off the wall shyt like Rock/Austin returning for a couple of months, giving a contract to Jeff Hardy and clearing Daniel Bryan happens at the same time - but what they should be doing is build some momentum and experiment a little bit during a time were the NFL is gonna rape them every week.

Give Dunn the boot and ratings wont go up instantly but we will see some changes that could payoff come Mania Season and beyond.

Specially now that Cena will be taking a couple of months off. It's the perfect time to throw shyt at the wall, see what sticks and run with it.

They can't even excite people with a different look every now and again because of that gerbil tooth lame.

All kinds of stuff they could be doing in regards to entrances, backstage segments, off-site shooting, etc etc etc. But these dudes are content as hell to have 2 people standing awkwardly in front of a flatscreen for every damn segment.

Yea the backstage segments have been stale for years, it just doesnt make sense anymore. And its not like a real interveiw the inter viewer asks one question gets one scripted response then just stands there looking confused as they take 5 seconds to cut back to ringside. and they do it every time so its not a accident.. What interviewer only asks one question? and why have they gone away from Renne Young, she was actually good. Why not mix it up, they used to catch them getting out there car or as soon as they walk in the building or even after the match. I think the production is the corniest part of the show

Booking was a helluva lot better during the Attitude Era & Ruthless Aggression Era. The writing has been atrocious. Remember when there were challengers who looked like viable threats to the World Champion? Now everybody looks like a transitional champion until LOLCENAWINS. Remember when you actually cared who won the IC and US titles? You can't get emotionally invested in these characters.
