I remember being absolutely stunned at just how popular Jeff Hardy was during those mid to late 2000s. when JR called that shyt a "Hardy Party" he wasn't lying. I remember like, they really gonna give Jeff Hardy the world title? but he was so popular, there was no denying it.

Eddie was. Jeff was just.....there. Then he started breaking through.

Nothing changed. Spot monkey was a huge hit with the 12-16 yr old girls in the millenial era (1999-2002). The 7 yr olds (at the time) grew up to help feed his bullshyt push in 2006 till he pissed it away being a scrub again.

For dudes, he was the GOAT, if you liked to see a grown ass man, who can't talk, leap off of shyt and move at a methhead pace.

Temporary bandaid over a gaping wound, and when it gets pulled off (Hardy hurt, fukks up again, "creative has nothing for you", etc.) they'll be right back at square one.

I wouldn't mind seeing him for a match or two, but I have my doubts about a long-term program with anyone.
