:jbhmm:Are folks really trying to discredit the run that young Jeffery had in the late 00s? Anyways I fukks with Jeff. It was dope to watch his career from the start to him reaching the top. Major dues were paid. If he comes back and they thrown him in the main event scene Id have no issue with it :manny:

Breh you are a fukking idiot, so much shyt wrong with this post.

MVP was never over.

Jeff is not flabby and sick, he has always been in good shape.

At his height, Jeff Hardy was 50,000x more over then Punk was and its not even close.

Punk was super over for like 4 months or so.

Jeff Hardy was getting monstrous Pops for YEARS AND YEARS.

That's a damn lie. He got over as a face AND as a heel.

You're a fukking fukkboi. Yes, he was over, but ya'll must have been 5 in 2006, because you're overrating the shyt outta him. He was not in great shape either. He was in active druggie shape. Dude has NEVER had a visible ab in his life :lolbron:. He was just the standard of crazy White Boy, who was very flexible. He did have amazing charisma, without being able to speak. Crispin Wah stans would be proud.

You should know by now that he's a fan of drug addict unreliable wrestlers who do flippy shyt and have awful mic skills.

:russ::lolbron::mjlol:
I just can't with this thread. Ya'll seriously are shytting on ALL THE current roster so bad, that you want a dude who pissed away chance after chance to go IMMEDIATELY over them.:bryan:That's really going to help morale around there.

It's not that bad. I knew there was something more to this thread than just Jeff Hardy appreciation. I do appreciate him, and his skills. I'm just being fair about how overrated he was. You can go to any forum, and people will tell you that their love faded for him (and Hardy Boyz) as they got older. Yes, Jeff is capable of huge pops, but his matches are 100 percent the same ALL THE TIME.

You will be bored with him, and cite the same reasons I'm saying, in 2 months of a full push, I guarantee that shyt. Go watch some TNA if you miss him so much :lolbron:.

I don't want the current roster to be pushed down for Jeff Hardy nostalgia. King Kurt, Brock Lesnar, and Goldberg is different. No, MVP was NEVER near Hardy's status, and I never meant to imply that. I was trying to say that MVP could still have a much more substantial career than Jeff.

Jeff Hardy wouldn't last to the end of year if he came back during SummerSlam. But I'm going to let ya'll cook here, because I'm really touching some feelings in here :pachaha:

OMG at the people who want Jeff freggin Hardy immediately in the main even scene. The revisionist history too :whoo:.

To the previous poster, CM Punk won over Hardy, in both overness and what he did at the top.

Jeff Hardy was at the top for how long at TNA?? :dahell: Where is that prestigious organization now?

you're not very good at this:pachaha:

if you're going to go with that logic when talking about TNA (a company that has about 10% the amount of finances and resources compared to WWE), then what does that say about CM Punk being one of the worst and lowest drawing WWE champions of all time?

CM Punk – None Main Event Champion, Decline In Ratings And Buys

Except some in the audience clearly weren’t as thrilled as others – viewers tuned out and ppv buyers stopped buying.

Again, you can argue that the WWE isn’t built around one guy drawing anymore. Lots of things can be attributed with that decline. However, the fact remains, as champion Punk did not draw. Steve Austin came along in a decline, cut a blistering promo and started drawing mega money. CM Punk came along in a decline, cut a blistering promo and started drawing average to underwhelming money. That’s just the way it is.

In analyzing Punk as a drawing champion, initially he started hot. You can understand why … the pipe bomb promo was one of the greatest sells ever for a PPV. Punk and Cena did 195,000 worldwide buys for Punk’s big moment in Chicago. Summerslam 2011 however, Punk’s first big match in his new main event role, saw a drop off in business. The 2010 event had drawn 349,000 buys whereas with Punk main eventing in 2011 it clocked in at 296,000 buys.

This unfortunately became a trend for Punk as a main event draw. You might however point to the fact that his rise in merchandise sales offset this, but then the drop in tv ratings offsets that counter. WWE quickly got the message, fans weren’t buying into Punk as the main event man. The decision was made that John Cena would still be the show closing main event for the majority of shows. It was a damning verdict from management on their faith in Punk as champion. If not for John Cena’s long term planned feud with The Rock, the ‘doctor of thuganomics’ would have had the title back much, much sooner.

WWE: 10 Lowest Drawing WWE Champions Of All Time

it was the rivalry with Jeffrey the GAWD Hardy that put CM Punk over

and Punk's ridiculous and delusional sense of entitlement and cry baby attitude :sadbron:is why so many can't wait to watch him get his skull bashed in when he finally does step into the octagon :wow:

Luckily this game sucks tonight, so I can retort. CM Punk's "runs" have been completely undercut from 2011 until he left. He was not able to main event any event for his 400+ days with the title. The feuds thar featured Cena, and we're the main event, we're the lamest things you've ever witnessed in your life, and EVERYONE say this.

That being said, was CM Punk EVER the champion? Yes, he was with The Rock at Royal Rumble. So the real math is to compare the buy rates of the PPV's where his story was the main event, and avg. those. I'm sure you'd find that his run was far from a failure then...and it was CENA FATIGUE.

You only care about RVD and complaining about thread titles. How would you know what anyone is talking about?

He should stay in tna. He owe them for life for that victory road performance. Unless sting gives him the cosign to cross on over, he oughta stay in tna.

The wwe can stay desperate. Go get Jericho. He ain't hard to find especially at this time of year.:yeshrug:
:laff::laff::laff: at the thought of Jericho just staring at his phone and picking up on the first ring thinking and hoping it's wwe cause he's not trying to be home for the holidays.

Micro-managing and over scripting is hurting a ton of performers' mic skills.

Also, why is Jeff considered flabby and sick after one major injury during his 20-plus year wrestling career? There are more injury prone younger dudes under contract with the WWE.

And that one major injury was a dirtbike accident.
