Jeff was huge at one time and would move the needle a little bit in the E if they bought him back and put him in a decent program. He could feud with Owens Dolph Dean Neville etc. for the secondary titles and make some noise. He's always been over and the fans love him. If he comes back and stays clean (which is the key) I could see him being used in a big way for at least a year or two.

I was looking at videos of the feud since I quit watching wrestling around 2003ish and what made the feud so special is that Punk used Jeff's real life issues as an anchor to make him more of a legit player.

The 38-year-old also added that he had no problem wrestling full-time despite saying that the WWE's schedule was one of the main reasons he left in 2009. Wrestle Review noted that Hardy asked for his release from the WWE because of a handful of injuries including two herniated discs on his lower back, problems with his neck and suffering "restless leg syndrome."
