I don't get how signing vets means they aren't developing talent. NXT still runs house shows with cards largely consisting of guys who haven't made it on to their "TV" yet. It's not like the in-house developmental talent are all sitting on the sidelines not wrestling. NXT isn't just the one hour weekly show on the network.

Baron Corbin, Jordan and Gable, Dana Brooke, Nia Jax, Enzo and Cass.... Like 75% of the current crop of upper echelon NXT talent that has emerged since the influx of Steen, Balor etc. were developed in the NXT system or had at most a cup of coffee in some indy fed you never heard of.

:ehh: Good for Aries if true.

Doesn't really change NXT the way people make it seem. They run crews at this point anyway where the actual still developing crew & a couple big names (so people will come) pretty much stays around Florida & they send the big names somewhere else.

They're not gonna do anything significant with most of these guys. They just don't want them to end up elsewhere, I really don't see why they're signing all this talent. They're still the number 1 brand by a margin as wide as the Grand Canyon.

About time they start bringing in big name talent and stop pretending good talent doesn't wrestle elsewhere.

What ever happened to Alex Shelley? That mufukka was supposed to sign with the WWE since 2007. Wasn't he really close to signing like 3-4 years ago?

He must not've cut it in developmental or something. I always could tell he was a hipster CAC bum with no real draw/star power. Big Nash was wasted on him.

They've had a lot of injuries and are trying to get a bigger pool of reliable midcarders that can go, brother.
