I think they are related because if alot of these guys girls had characters/gimmick then they wouldn't have to go 100 mph in the ring to try and get themselves over and they could slow down and tell more of a story in the ring and save the big moves for the PPV or the really big spots for Mania.

Also when you have a character/gimmick then you would wrestle that way. Stone cold was a tough ass redneck and wrestled that way. Rock The Great One the most electrifying man in sport entertainment and had the flashy moves and nip-up them open hand punches he even sold moves with flash.

Mankind mentally unstable and wrestled that way throwing caution to the wind so on and so on. Kane & Taker both being able to take way more punishment then most normal man matched there gimmick.

WWE does need more vignettes to add layers to their characters.
-Dean Ambrose needs to set somebody's car on fire or something...BE the "Lunatic Fringe".
-Bray Wyatt has had a few "mystic" moments, but somebody ass need to be vomitting or something. Somebody needs to like throw themselves off the top of a cage while under hypnosis or something.
-Kevin Owens needs to have some kind of vignette where he injures his sparring partner in some dark dank wrestling gym.
-Sami needs to pull up in a cab. And his finisher needs to be the Blue Thunder Bomb but they change the name to the "Cab Driver"
etc....

nikka they don't need fukking vignettes just take the reigns off the talent let them have more control over their characters and stop giving the scripts like 96/97. If they do this they will see talent develop. I think they would actually be smart to invest in tna or roh since they get talent from them.
