I'm still quite befuddled at the pop the Punjabi Prison Match got last night.

Like do they not remember the SmackDown of old? Those matches were horrid, only DC Dave was somewhat able to salvage the second one.

Let's hope the Maharaja can remove the taint off that match's legacy.

I still feel like redoing the MitB match and having Carmella win again is gonna kill her heat. The crowd is gonna react the exact same way Bryan did on Talking Smack: "Well, she won it fair and square this time. :_RVD_:"

The Mike and Maria segment is a perfect example of how Smackdown tries to cram way the fukk too much into a two hour show. The fact that their first promo on TV got interrupted by Sami Zayn coming out for his match, and they don't even try to fukk him up after the match or cause a DQ? Very jarring to me.

The match concept itself is fine, these 2 will probably put on something good. If anyone "cant wrestle" its Khali, and that was his match.

Hed be a great goon for Jinder if he hadnt seen him be so goofy his last few years.

The Jinder/Orton segment was good. It made sense and the crowd reacted how WWE wanted them to.

Lana got nothing, but her getting as much offense as she did in the first match gave her a serious perception off the bat, she'll be fine.

Owens is too much of a goofball.

Nah Khali is just huge over in India so Jinder was just giving him a shout out.

That pop was VERY loud. They CLEARLY don't remember how terrible those matches (and the WWE in general) was at that time

Yeah but pro wrestling is carny entertainment at the end of the day. A "Punjabi Prison" match where the cage is made out of bamboo is memorable and sounds cool, doubt most in the arena remember or even care if the matches weren't good, the gimmick sells itself.
