Normally I hate part timers taking key spots and going over.... but I'd be okay with this.

The universal title needs a reset badly. Right now it is a weak title with minimal prestige. Owens being booked like a chump hasn't elevated it at all.

You put that strap on goldberg and then lesnar at mania and it looks prestigious. Knowing you gotta take down the beast to win it makes it a legit top title.:yeshrug:

However.... this is all contingent on Lesnar finally putting over a young talent. Lesnar needs to eat a pin from Strowgawd and give him the rub after this.

He's the only full time roster member who could believably take down Brock, and it would cement Braun as the top monster heel of the next decade.

I'm still not 100% sold on Strowman jumping into the main event scene right now. I'm a big fan of the slow burn buildup. Given his improvement (or exposure), I think he would be at the right place for a main event push very late this year or even at RR next year if they wanted to pull the trigger then (as long as he keeps improving).

I definitely agree that Brock would be a great "kill" for him if they wanted to really cement him as the next "next big thing".

At first I wanted Braun to have a run with the US title and a couple more feuds.. take out Big Show/Henry/Kane in a pass the torch retirement feud etc..but if Brock gets the title they have to pull the trigger.

Can't keep the title on a part timer for a huge reign. Braun should be ready by Summerslam hopefully.

That shyt just doesn't sound right, at this point there is no road to wrestlemania its just how many big name matches can we have. They seem to work the story around making the big names look good now and not about elevating that next star.

I love the part timers but if they want to put the title on these guys they need to get more appearances from them. If Goldberg wins he better be on raw the next night and at least twice a month before mania..

It sucks batista came back during the DBY era cause atleast he was willing to go on the road like a regular talent, Goldberg aint doing shyt he better be around more than once a month.

also storyline wise what has either done to deserve a title shot? I don't like this

I been telling dudes....there's no way Whisker Biscuit signed on past SS to NOT be promised the Piru Championship. What other motivation does he have.

At the end of the day I expect to see Finn v. Roman (c) and Finn gets his belt back, by SSlam.
On the other end, Bray will keep the belt for a minute, but WM34 Cena will win #17 :camby:
