Gunther just isn't a WM main eventer to me. Is Punk vs Gunther at Summerslam setting the world on fire right now? Now imagine trying to sell that as a main event for the biggest event in wrestling. It doesn't even matter rhat it's a 2 night event. :russ:
I guess they've been trying to make up for how they handled his Walter Survivor Series debut when it was NXT vs Raw vs Smackdown years ago. Got a good pop and eliminated super fast. Lol. Uts the Cripple H 2003 booking spread out. Keep winning so he can keep burying and bragging except it didn't draw.

Others would say the opposite, to be fair.

It is what it is. Just have to make a tough decision. But it's funny how it seemed quite easy for them to have Iyo pin Bianca at the event when they could have done the same with Rhea or whatever.

Ah well.
Its not tough at all. If they think Rhea needs to get overpushed..have her win. If the crowds are funny with Bianca..you could have her win with the heel turn like they've done a million times before when fans go left. Or just have Bianca win at Summerslam like they did with Edfie and Angle or Brock and Angle...yadda, yadda.

To them, it's tough, I guess.

To me, it isn't. As best I can tell, Rhea's portrayed as the top woman there. Establish that by having her beat Bianca and move on until it's time for Even Stevens shyt.

It can be argued depending on who is drawing...they've sacrificed Asuka to push them both...and Becky stayed down at two different Manias for them.

The reaction to the Bruce Pritchard/Abyss thing on Twitter reminds me that a lot of wrestling fans are young folks who have never been in any sort of professional environment with expectations or protocol :pachaha:

That was benign as fukk :mjlol:

And I'm the last guy to side with a WWE suit lmao

#ThisIsWhyTheyDontHireFans It's definitely on par with how a lot of them think tho- any criticism is an attack (odd because they love to criticize everything 😆), making themselves a victim anytime someone doesn't agree, etc... they made it seem like it was Vince yelling at him and calling him names or something, and then Regal needed to come over there and pat him up about it. And yet, these are the people who believe they would do well working in creative. Imagine getting your storyline changed, scrutinized, or canceled and you ready to resign or cry about it unless Michael Hayes gives you a talk and reassures you that everything is gonna be ok. They would never be able to handle that:pachaha: it was nowhere near as deep as people tried to make it.

*Chelsea Green gets it - it's a show. There's many ways to become a memorable character in wrestling that don't always involve being dominant.

That idea they had for the Royal Rumble (28 and 29 dual elimination with Chelsea Green at 30 winning it just by stepping foot in the ring), would be pretty fukking funny for a RAW or Smackdown, especially if her goons get involved.

That was blatantly evident once TKO bought WWE.

A 2 week build isnt gonna move a lot of people who already got fatigue from back to back shows this spring/summer with no build anyway. But back during mania season when Gunther stock was still a bit better and he needed credible names to feud it probably looks different.

I mean, even Bruce ultimately just shrugged it off with a "shyt happens" reaction, I think it's as simple as Abyss putting pressure on himself and being disappointed it didn't go off without a hitch since he's still new to this.

I was so confused by how rasslin twt was reacting to Bruce for that lol

Made it sound like he gave a cokeboy era chewing to him lol

I really enjoyed this. It wasn't like a typical WWE24 that many expected (myself included) - it seemed like genuine conversations in that booking room. They let all the swearing fly, thought they were gonna bleep out stuff. Was pretty raw to me.

Didn't know my GOAT Peyton Manning was executive producer :wow: Love the theme song that plays throughout all the episodes, and how many versions it has. Reminds me of all that variations of the Succession theme that plays through the show (upbeat, slow, depressing, etc.)

Hayes did a stellar job with the Triple Threat ME. HHH did great job calling every cam shot for the Cena heel turn. I thought he would have left all of that to the truck. Surprised that even the truck guys/lead producer didn't know themselves what was going to happen. Even getting every body on board involved more than I thought ie: HHH going to Khan first, then trickling down to Rock/Travis/Cody/Cena.

But one thing I am trying to figure out: is all the pep talks HHH gives the talent a put on for this show? Or are they really that insecure? Punk, I somewhat get with being his first ME. But what was with HHH constantly have to bring up Rhea Both before and after the match.. Like multiple times he had to re-assure her. Was a bit too much, to me.

Rhea has been pretty open about experiencing anxiety before and after matches
