This era was the best to grow up in! I had the first X-Clan album as a kid! That's a classic!

The labels pushed out all these types of artists. I think it was Dante Ross who said that at one point, labels were searching for groups like X-Clan and PRT. but then after awhile, they started moving away from the more pro-black groups and MC's. Sh*t is wild.
