I think because they let their leader guy go abd had to rewrite it all. He knew the direction of the show and where he wanted it to go.

The original plan was to release season 2 in 2025, but they fired the original showrunner (Beau "Freaky" DeMayo).

As a result, Marvel Studios decided to rewrite most of season 2. That's the reason for the delay to 2026.

I saw the Askani Son clip where Jean and Cyclops raise teenage Cable which means he has to fight teenage Stryfe who was the heir to Apocalypse in the future...

I always thought it was a real pu$$y move for them to back out on Stryfe being the real Nathan Summers...Cyclops son being responsible for the Legacy Virus was a great angle and Stryfe had great motivation in X Cutioner's song.....

No.. marvel already announced they alternating.. XMEN in 26, Spider Man in 27.. so that means XMEN in 28 and Spider Man in 29

I hope that for season 2 and beyond, the episodes are 45 minutes to 1 hour in length. While season 1 was good, each episode being 22-35 minutes long made some things rushed.

And it's a self-imposed time limit too. Just because they want to "make it like the '90s show". SMH.
