Back in the 1990s, in the era of Jim Lee and Todd Macfarlane, more was better. The problem was there were too many X-men on the main team now that the first generation of X-factor had come back to join up with Xavier. So Marvel had them split into two groups- Blue and Gold.
Members (Blue): Cyclops, Beast, Wolverine, Rogue, Psylocke, and Gambit. Later joined by Jubliee
Members (Gold): Storm, Iceman, Archangel, Jean Grey, Colossus, and Bishop. Later joined by Forge
If you were in danger and knew an X-men group was coming to the rescue, which one would give you the most hope for surviving relatively unscathed? Or if you were a new Xavier institute student who was promoted to the X-men, which team would you want to join?
Thing is I remember back when if somebody knifed him in the stomach it would take him WEEKS to heal from that shyt, now he gets burned to his fukking skeleton and recovers in seconds.
I'm genuinely puzzled as to why anybody gives a fukk about the character anymore. He's never in danger anymore, he's no longer an underdog loner, he's not even a berserker.
remember his healing factor got a boost after his adamantium was ripped out. Why it didn't decrease when he got it back we will never know.
His healing factor was getting gradual boosts well before that incident, they just used that to explain it after the fact.
Wolverine is nowhere close to the character he used to be in regards to his abilities and character motivations. At this point he's just a character that some fanboys like to live vicariously though.
word...marvel intelligence tiering goes:
Tier Zero:
Reed Richards

We already know.
When Weapon X program bonded the Adamantium, they did the process incorrectly which constantly poisoned him, especially believeable since Wolverine was their trial run before Sabretooth, their more loyal soldier.
Apocalypse was the one who replaced the Adamantium back except he did the bonding correctly because he's much smarter and has Celestial tech. Which is why it stayed as strong without slowing him down
