He can’t be in Black Panther as a character AND ACTIVELY Magneto

And I don’t see a reason for Magneto to be in BP unless they gonna debut some of the X-men early and bring them to the next BP

Plus I want my Magneto a white man:mjpls::mjpls::mjgrin:

Took you long enough to stop beating around the bush:mjpls:

And does Magneto actually have holocaust origins to begin with? I always assumed it was about a fictional people that was based on the holocaust. I only really watched the cartoon and the movies, but i dont remember them specefically bringing up hitler and nazis.

Just make it about a fictional people like they did in Superman.

Plus based on the bad press "his people" have been getting lately. I can say for certain it would probably be for the best to not attach this character to jewish origin. Mi no jewish Magneto will make things less awkward in theatres:mjpls:. I would hate for "Free Palestine" chants to ruin my viewing experience.

Got further clarification.

Evolution of the Backstory: "While initially not explicitly linked to the Holocaust in his earliest appearances, Magneto's backstory was later reworked in the late 1970s and solidified with the 2008 graphic novel X-Men: Magneto Testament, which drew heavily from real accounts of Holocaust survivors to create a nuanced portrayal of his childhood experiences under Nazi rule."

So they could easily go back to just not explicitly making it about the Holocaust. We would all know what its based on even if its a fictional people genocided by a fictional regime.

If he ain't black then the next best thing would be a Palestinian who was a child during the six days war who wants to build Krakoa on his people's land

But the mouse ain't brave enough for all that :mjpls:
Imagine the levels of irony and heads that would explode from this.

From a storytelling perspective it makes sense, and since the mouse seemingly likes to oiss everyone off everyday, we could get our first Arab comicbook character in the MCU (I think?)
