X-men the animated series stayed schooling us on our day off

X-men was dope AF, and lowkey stayed teaching us about some important life lessons, wedged inbetween Cyclops acting like a general bytch, and Wolverine lusting over a damn near teenage Jean Grey.

Until I put on the one episode about Nightcrawler . Can't remember the name, but it was really deep.

Next thing, we are at X Men 2 opening night.

That's dope. The Night Crawler opening was dope. I wish they gave his character a bit more shine in the movies. Hopefully '97 features him more. Especially the science behind his power.

In terms of comics, I would still say that the late 70s- early 80s period was the goat run, since most of the really hot stories in TAS were borrowed from that era.

Nah Batman TAS is the GOAT superhero cartoon but X Men is a close second. Both still hold up today.
