I don't get why people would be upset about this. I think people are just pointing out how blind sheep completely defended needing to pay for Live to use these services.
I don't play any games on my 360 but I still have one, it was completely stupid that the system is basically useless without paying for a subscription. Not everybody has an active PS+ or Live subscription all the time.
and now it isnt (well in june technically)....everybody eats...

bro....I don't think a lot of these nikkas are doing it to annoy anyone...they think all of this is either too late (fukking retarded) or back tracking because MS wants to improve a product. If this is back tracking...then wtf are console updates (firmware etc.) that add, remove or tweak features during a console's life span?

PS+ offers much more than just being able to play multiplayer games online. And to be honest with you, I've paid for many more years of Xbox Live's service than PS+, but yeah, I'm a sheep. I didn't buy into PS+ until after they proved it's value. So yeah...
