Is google, bing, yahoo, ask etc not your friend? The info is out there. Did you actually read the links? Or did you just look at the date and pretty pics?
You were quick to search before, search again. The burden of proof isn't on me, you're the one making the argument dumbass and have already shown that you will make an attempt when you think you might be right. But, now that it's obvious you're wrong you on some "google it b!".

lol nah i'm just optimistic of MS setup for the future. like i said sony is essentially forced to abide by retail prices becuase of their issues with used games(gamefly, gamestop) , piracy and sharing. 2 out of 3 of those will be eliminated on the xbox one. they can lower both retail and digital prices MUCH quicker because profit margins will still be massive like steam.
Only issue i have with their setup is the 24 hours, they need to expand it a bit.
right now nikkas is like :kat: is they doing but i'm starting to understand the setup, MS has to explain it better i think they will.

Burden of proof to what, I didnt make any accusations. It was yall who brought this up. The op thread was about a dev kit running a supposed titan. I came on to gave some insight on the the situation and got attacked by the Sony defense force. Im not a stan of ether console. You took it personally and brought negs into the picture.
Here's the thing, Steam functions that way because they are a private company, that will continue to be the difference when people try to compare the two services and it is a massive difference. If MS sees games selling @$59.99, they just aren't going to drop the price because there's no need to, their bottom line is and will continue to be profit margin. None of these public companies operate in the way you're describing, because cutting price in turn means unnecessarily dropping gains their stockholders are seeing. The first question that will come up in a board meeting when someone says "Hey lets drop the price on games" will be "why?"
I don't buy used games, so I don't have an issue there, however I do give games to my friends and relatives when I'm done with them. So they can't eat as a result of MS's policy.

You do realize that Sony offers the same exact online purchasing/downloading capabilities. shyt even nintendo is doing it. The shift to digital is happening regardless, MS are not forging into unknown territory on that aspect. The same low manufacturing costs you are bragging about are also available through Sony and Nintendos online stores. The only difference is that MS are also placing unnecessary restrictions on used games.

I saw absolutely no reason to upgrade to Windows 8 from a pure use/workflow standpoint and the fact that I don't have any tablets/touch enabled screens

Ps4 = choose whether you want your (retail) games physical or digital
Ps4 keeps them separate.
Xbox one brings them together so gamers get the benefits of both no matter which delivery method they choose
