It is interesting to note that the PS4 has only one APU, so if the final Xbox 720 architecture contains two APUs, it just changes the whole dynamics of next gen competition.

Might be tempted to pick both of these consoles up now.
The second APU is probably in there to do some heavy lifting for the Kinect whenever it's being used. But developers who don't take advantage of the Kinect will definitely have access to the 2nd APU too.
