This is bad advice. I've sent a few faulty consoles to the pawn shop just so I can use the money to buy a new one.

It starts overheating, fan constantly running, not reading discs, and alladat...send it to the pawn shop. Sell it for about $150 - 200 and go cop a new one.

Got my Xb1 on Sale last black friday in a bundle, got mad free games from Xbox live since that. Plus you can buy used games in gamestop or any game store save them to your hard drive and never use the cd again. Saves money. As someone said its also a great media device. If you not that into gaming there alot of other stuff to keep you busy. If you like Madden, I suggest you buy an EA Sports Access Package, it cost me like 59.99 and you get all EA major titles, all the maddens etc. Plus deals and specials on anything EA... the game itself probably cost the same 59.99 so youre definitely not losing, for being able to play for a full year. Youll be bored of madden before the year is over and still have access to all the other titles.

Luckly for me, I'm pretty tech advanced. I bought a broken PS4 on Craigslist for $75. The power moles inside was cut a little. So I just stripped it and reattached it and BOOM! It started working like new. Took a big risk, but it paid off. Bought a used controller from my homeboy for $15.

Best bet is to wait for the holidays and clean up on the deals. Everywhere MS been practically giving the Xbox away cause sales ain't where they want them to be. Sony might have some better sales this holiday but they're the market leader so they don't have to be as desperate.
