Love it so far. Getting used to the paddles, run and gun is easier. The short trigger function is saving my index fingers after long sessions. It will probably get me much deeper into PC gaming as well.

I noticed if you remap buttons to the paddles on the xbone app they stay like that on the PC, too :banderas:I'm using the longer analog on the right side and it seems to make aiming a little more precise. The hairpin triggers do let you fire a little faster but I don't know if it's really much of an advantage. I love the smooth snap back feeling of the analogs. Overall, the controller feels very high end and very well made.

Nice...I don't have to update to win 10 to map the buttons and paddles. :blessed: I also like the smooth snap back feeling of the thumb sticks

I also found mapping the analog stick buttons to the paddles is safe for when you hit them by accident and I always hated when games have left analog as sprint so this is more convenient for me.

Have you tried the hairpin trigger with Xbox one? Cod or halo??

I tried them on Halo but I'm an average player so it didn't seem like I was doing any better. I'd have to practice more to really give you proper feedback if it's an advantage or not. I did see some IGN videos where the guy playing said it was making a difference for him.

What I meant was, are you getting off shots faster? For example, are you getting off quicker shots with the pistol? Does the game respond is what I want to know.

Hair triggers would save you a few milliseconds at most. The only time you save comes from applying pressure on the trigger which isn't much at all to begin with. Would rather have a low latency button response than hair triggers.

EDIT: Not to mention the button activating isn't available until the next frame which can be as much as 33ms at 30fps (plus any potential vsync overhead if that happens on consoles). You're not saving any meaningful time unless the hardware firmware is that bad.
