None of this looks like GOT or TLOU so it must unimpressive.


Looking forward to wasteland the most as it's flying SUPER low under the radar, I would have never purchased Lie to me, but I'll def give it a shot since it's on gamepass. And of course I'm looking forward to battletoads.

I'm going to play them and they will sell well but for they are lacking when it comes to satisfying the serious "hardcore" gamer...if that is even the correct phrase

I think that's what a lot of people are missing with that line of thinking. I'm thinking two out of the 3 games will sell well. Depending on the rating battle toads receives and the nostalgia it holds it may sell well also.

Thats why I said if that was even the right phrase. A lot of gamers are looking for something that can go up against tlou, gow, and those of the like

So you mean AAA games? Yeah, you are going to have to wait for Series X for those types of games to drop, although I would say that Flight Simulator is a AAA game because there is no way that game could be made without Microsoft's resources behind it.

That's absolutely what the overall audience is looking for, and I'm not sure if MS is purposely avoiding those kinds of games are just didn't have the talent to create those....or feel like that's sony's lane and aren't interested in it.


I think it's a bit of all of it. But having a game that is an exclusive that is along the lines of realism and detail that GOT and tlou provide would instantly put MS right there with sony with everything else they are providing now...

The problem isn't that Microsoft is avoiding those types of games, it's that they cancelled a lot of games and closed studios which left them with Halo, Gears, and Forza and not much else. It takes years to build AAA games and Microsoft stopped the pipeline of games coming out for Xbox One, and when they realized that they needed studios again, it was too late for new games starting development to come out on Xbox One. That's why we only have CG trailers for Series X games, because the games are still a long way from releasing.

I mean, I hear what you're saying but I think we all have been told that since Xbox 360...for me the closest thing Microsoft has put out that was similar to uncharted, tlou was Alan wake and we all know the second one isn't coming out. Also they had a few exclusives that looked promising but they were just canceled for reasons unknown

I'm thinking that @The Mad Titan is right about his assumption of Phil.

But I hope you're right because I was always a m$ fan when it came to consoles but at the end of the day I love video games and I'm not going to miss out on greatness because of one system
