My shyt said I had a MTU failure, Im looking on-line trying to fix it and came across this thread.

shyt like this is exactly why you cant have a always online policy!! What if it's a problem with Live?? During Hurricane Sandy my power went out for 1 and 1/2 days, my cable didn't come on for a week (no internet)...then what??

I'm glad MS has changed their policy for always on-line requirements (even if it took poor pre-orders to do it).

Just to emphasize what the previous DRM meant.... If it had been 24 hours or more since you last turned on XBox One and you decided you wanted to play XBox One games right now - it would not be possible. Multiplayer, single player, whatever. You wouldn't be able to.
