Spoken like a true basic bro gamer.
All you need is CoD, Madden, Doritos, and some Mountain Dew, right?
Indie studios have put out some of the best games in terms of sheer gameplay, originality, and value in the last few years. These mega studios cut every corner possible and publish unfinished games with the promise to the consumer they'll either patch it later on or release additional content as DLC (that should already be in the $60 game to begin with). Only thing that matters to Activision, EA, Ubisoft, Square, etc. is the bottom line. Cut development costs and maximize end-user payments.
Indie studios on the other hand KNOW they have to make sure their shyt is on point, because nobody will buy it if it's trash. They don't have the mindless consumer going out and laying $60 without any thought because the box says "Call of Duty" or "FIFA" on it. Indie studios tend to spend more time on actual gameplay and mechanics than mega studios do.
But I wouldn't expect Microsoft fanboys to know much about indie games
