the argument, my friend, is XB1 preorders being the same as the PS4 when it clearly isn't. There's a reason no outlet is running with this story.

Per Best Buy and Gamestop, them online purchases at this point are risky, due to the chance of you paying for one and not getting it when it drops or even closely afterwards.

Ps4 had double the pre-orders than xbox 1 and suddenly some random ass dev comes from the bushes and says the #s are close and he doent give the #s because of accounting reasons?
So all this time Ps4's pre-orders have been stagnant enough to the point xbox 1 came out and over took the Ps4?

I think your missing the point here. Preorder numbers have never been confirmed by anyone. I dont know where your getting that ps4 had double. Sony said they have more than a million and this dev said so does Xbox.

He's not saying which one has more or that they are equal, he's just saying that both have more than a million, which is easily attainable given their respective fanbases.

Im just going to but it like this, both consoles have high Preorders both will sell out. This thread did exactly what thought it would do.

I know what you ment by doubled, and I'm saying there's no way for you to say that because no one has released pre-order numbers.

Neither Sony Or Microsoft are disclosing them and it's probably due to accounting/investing reasons.

If you add in the faulty systems, there are probably about 600,000 PS4's active right now.
The rest are broken or on Ebay

And what number are on ebay and which are broken? So far no concrete numbers except for the .04% number being thrown around (which IMO is BS).
