Well backwards compatibility on the ps3 costed you about 600 bucks... at that point it really wasn't worth it, and digital games on consoles over all


I was all for hard copy re releases.

Remastering now is tired and lame, and I think both sides agree, although they keep supporting the trash.

Agreed Sony open paradora box with that shyt. At least microsoft offered incentives with their backward compatibility. Halo was 5 games, Gears is 3 games.

This Holiday I got Tales,Dragon Quest,and Uncharted collection in October alone. Persona 5 will be the cherry on top of the sundae.

Its wild to think that some peoples GOAT games are like GOW and Halo 2.

That's how I know I'm , those games while great dont need a remastering or remake yet.

The only games I want to see remade are 2d games and ps1 and saturn games

XBOX ONE launches a limited backwards compatibility line up with promises of adding more to the list eventually and the response from the XBOX crowd is "WE GOT OLD GAMES!!!!!"

I tip my hat to MS for adding backwards compatibility. I think it was a great move, but XBOTS need to be a little more consistent.

Well for one Sony can't do HW level backwards compatibility on the PS4 because the Cell is too complex for the PS4 to emulate.
Secondly Sony doesn't have a service like Microsoft Azure.

There are things one company can do that the other really can't despite the hardware similarities.
