Clearly the areas highlighted as "possible" options that can be done with this "secret" ram can be done with the "non secret" ram that both consoles have. The suggestion made was why is this so significant, if you were not able to read outside of the context.

Its really not that complex. The GDDR5 is moving far more data and moving it much faster than the MMC memory. Its basic math breh. If the PS4 can move 176 GB/s and this MMC moves 20 MB/s is it really that hard to fathom? I did mean to write over a TB, but you still get the point.

The GDDR3 is moving far more data as well. You seem to be putting on tunnel blinders so this thread then becomes GDDR5 vs MMC which this isn't and never was about.
This is about how the MMC is in addition to the GDDR3 of the XB1. When combined, it makes the 8gb of GDDR3 even more powerful because it can use its energy on other things.
Now how will those two in tandem make the XB1 better?

Your point is pointless. Both systems could do this, now one system can do it and have assistance doing it.
PS4 doesn't have assistance doing anything, and it DOESN'T do what you said it does.
Yeah, the PS4 can stream. But it can't snap. The article was guessing on what it helps on.
What we know is that the xbox from a system feature standpoint is designed to do things the PS4 isn't designed to do. And this revelation is possibly there to make those features run as smooth as they do.

If that is the reason its there, then the PS4 in theory can do it. But how well can it do it?
Once again, instant switching is something "they are looking into" aka don't hold your breath.
And no way it works like it does on the greener side. That is ultimately the goal, for things to actually work
