Im`a diehard football fan, I find RZ cool but usually when i`m watching a game I like to stick with it.

RZ can be dope, but then there is a lot of times i`m just interested in the outcome of one game and it gets my full attention.

If you only wanna focus on one game at a time then whatever but the reason for redzone is we live in a Fantasy/betting world and most people want their info quick and constantly updating without commericals

It's not about hating on it. Most have said the features are cool. My point is, all of the "extras" that they are implementing aren't more important than their policies on used games, or their DRM authentication practices.

People are in here talking about all in one experience for the One like this is new. You could hook up an HTPC to your TV and it have all of these services and more than what MS is hyping up for a game console. That's why it's funny to me.

If you're really moved by all of this multitasking for your TV and streaming integration... you should look at hooking up an HTPC to your TV.

Bingo you worded it in a way I couldn't. Microsoft is bascially taking the form of XBMC etc... and making it legal. This features are not impressive at all I am sorry. This is 5 years too late.

The point of the XBOX One is to eliminate the need for your HTPC. My XBOX 360 supported pretty much any/every codec I could throw at it.

The only advantage your HTPC (with a tuner card) would have over this is DVR functionlity (if you have that) and being able to stream bootleg stuff from 1channel and various other sites. But of course, if you're going to promote piracy you have no business talking about Microsoft being anti-consumer.

Wait You Mean Instead Of Having Everything In ONE Box I Can Add 2-3 Other Ugly Black Boxes To My Entertainment Center And Do The Same Thing? :ohhh:

MS Aint Out Here Lying To Anyone On What They Want The XBOX To Be

We Can Talk About Games In A Games Thread And Features In A Features Thread, I Might Not Agree With EVERYTHING MS Has Implemented But Unless I Missed Something And The XBOX No Longer Can Play Videos Games All This Crying Is Pointless

Its Amazing How People Can Hate Something Thats Dope And Useful, I Mean Even If You Dont Wanna Use It ITS THERE If You Do, How The Hell Can That Actually Make You Angry? lol

Do You Guys Know That ALL TVs In The Not So Distant Future Are Gonna Have Optional Voice Control, Social Media Integration, Real Time Sports Score Updates, Built In DVR, Video Chat, Plus A Million Other Convenient Features I Cant Think Of

Will You Be Out Here On Some "I Just Want A TV To Watch TV I Aint Got No Need For A Million Nice Extra Features That Will Come In Handy, What Happened To Da Good Old Days" :flabbynsick:

I know man...I've been ignoring some of these threads recently because it gets ridiculous. Everybody want to take a side instead of just keeping it reality.

If its dope its dope.

I just KNEW Xbox was gonna come out with the next gen system that dominates and even I know that ps4 got the one up on them right now...I'm on some ps4 shyt and Xbox one POSSIBLY shyt now. I can admittedly say that this is a dope feature to have even though I'm more into basketball and boxing...can't even hate on this shyt. Not to mention a lot of this stuff can be navigated without touching a button. I'd love to have that shyt right from the bed.

With all that being said...I think ps4 gonna crush buildings game wise...may not be so clear at launch but within 2 years I think we will see a significant difference in graphics. I'm just hoping PS online has updated somewhat and close the gap on Xbox live in quality and features.

Besides a customizable and pretty GUI what are there? The ability to pull down IMDB information and coverart for each bootleg movie is a reason to replace one device with 3?

Please tell me more.

:what:

How is putting an HTPC to your TV setup any more than adding a new game console?

:dwillhuh:

If you do that, all of the devices that you named aren't needed at all.

The concept of all-in-one escapes you.

Not everyone wants 15 different devices attached to their TVs.

Dude people been doing it for decades and now y'all complaining because Microsoft said some different shyt cmon now. You still need a cable box, surround sound system, PS4, Xbox one all on the damn entertainment stand. SMH

Its about convenience tho bruh. There's nothing out there that let's you do all this simply by voice and gestures without touching a controller/remote/keyboard etc.

Of course this stuff is out there...but this brings a higher level of convenience. May not be important to some but its a plus to have.

:aicmon:

Fam, are you going to have a cable box in every room paired with your One? If not, miss me with your retarded argument.

A Roku is the size of a hockey puck and it's the only thing needed to stream all my TV shows and movies to my TVs.
