Well it obviously was my own mind that told me X1 was a good purchase cause tge Internet said it was the devil.
And the idea that Microsoft tried to do something evil to gamers is laughable. Again if you think for yourself you'd see that the original X1 policies were actually giving more rights to gamers in some ways.
Since last Christmas how many times have you gone without the Internet for 24hours?
Now how many times have you had to switch discs in your PS4?
Look at how people are now buying more digital games than ever before. Those games are locked to a single account you have no rights with them. With the original X1 policies you'd have more rights and flexibility as to what you can do with them after you purchase them. Sell share trade ect.
On the flip side Sony has been nothing but lies anti-consumerism and blatant cash grabs since the PS4 reveal. But the Internet didn't get mad at them so you don't care.
If you were able to think for yourself you'd understand the nuance of these situations, but no you'd rather believe whatever good vs evil storyline neogaf gives you.

Sony boldly lied to you about what games would be available to you when you purchased their system and their subscription service. You're still waiting to play driveclub.
They lied about the resolution of their flagship launch game.
They lied about what features would be available on PS4. You're still waiting on features they claimed the PS4 would have at the launch event.
They claimed PS4 was a "supercomputer" and "1080p 60fps or death". You have yet to play a true 1080p 60fps game on ps4.
They purposely removed media features from PS4 that all other similar devices have so they can force you to buy media from PSN
They are using their cloud investment, not to bring you new or better experiences, but to overcharge you for games you already own.
TLOUR full of microtransactions even though it was a remastered version of a game they just sold you last year
They've made no improvements to PSN even though its a paid service now. Is PSN working today?
Now if you truly made your purchase decision based off the morality of the company(which is an idiotic idea in itself) then you wouldn't own a PS4 either. But no you made your decision based off your own preferences which is fine, but trying to justify that decision by bashing the perceived morality of the competing company only leaves you in a "don't throw stones....." situation
