We did that on the PS3 ...LAST GEN.... with 5 cats eating off one copy (we did it all the time on the ....Warhawk.... ). Sony stopped that shyt after a couple of years. What publisher/dev wants some shyt like that? Of course that wasn't gonna last long.

So lets think about this, the way it was suppose to work was add 10 people to you family and friends list and they can play any game you have bought for free as long as you are not playing it. Meaning only one person can play the game at a time, basically it was the same thing as letting someone borrow your game but it didn't matter where in the US they were at. Sales weren't going to be lost this for multi player games at all infact sales for those type of titles should jump over all, single player games should be about the same outside of Those longer single player games... sales for those should have increased too. No one wants to sit around and wait for there friend to finish playing a 20 hour game so they can play if its a game they really like.

In a nutshell it was a really cool way to demo games your friends and family play, sure you could set up rings and schedules but over all more games would have been sold out of this than lost. At worst it was the same as letting a friend borrow games but way more convenient.


Sony has dropped something that's worse than Sega channel which dropped in 1993 for 19.99 a month.
