Exactly. PS3 caught up because the rest of the world picked up the slack and Xbox couldn't connect with that global audience the way PlayStation could. PS3 still got stomped on in the US by a significant margin

Bruh, the 360 was the top console last gen. Wii don't count, and PS3 sales don't count.
They grouped up PS2 sales, so the actual PS3 total is unknown to the public So how does the xbox not appeal globally but it beat the playstation

- 4 USB port (60 gig triple) not needing to buy a hub

Once these requirements are met and the price falls between 250-300 let a nikka know.

Sony doesn't have to do a damn thing. PS4 has outsolde XBONE despite microsoft doing 2 price cuts and releasing a kinnectless version. PS4 has just proven to be the more sought after system.

Would still rather spend a little extra for superior hardware...95% of the games on the market right now are miltiplatform and play better on PS due to superior hardware...

That said I do agree most people don't know the difference between 1080p / 900p or 60 FPS / 30 FPS...They just want a console to play "next gen" games...Hence why I can understand broke dumb nikkas coppin xboxes due to this price cut...
