The xbox now>>> the original "vision"
Since when is more options and features bad for the consumer
More options is good but a direction is even better. For the core gamer there is little to no incentive to purchase an Xbox console by making all their games cross platform with PC. Do they wanna be primary in the console selling business or the PC and game software selling business? Making your console a less attractive purchase while putting out a redesign on it seems directionless.

Honestly, I don't think anyone is buying PCs in large numbers to play Microsoft exclusives. I heard QB flopped everywhere and I don't think anyone seriously bought Gears Remastered on there.

Will be trading in my "big" X1 for the "slim" version, if only for 4K streaming. I prefer to use my X1 for tv watching than my smart TV's apps. :manny:

The Kinect is cool...fukk what everybody says :manny:

Depends on who you consider the core gamer.

Most gamers who buy the most popular stuff on consoles generally don't give a shyt about what's happening on PC.

External power bricks are better because the user can easily replace them. Plenty of times I've had power supplies on electronics go bad and needed to replace them.
External power bricks are better for a variety of reasons.

Less heat inside the case
Easier to replace without having to send it in to stay under warranty
Can in theory make the console smaller if they plan things out right.

The problem with the original XBOX One is that the shyt has a fukking enthusiast grade heatsink in that bytch. When I first opened up an xbox one I could not stop laughing. The heatsink + fan is as big as a 5.25" Blu-Ray drive and heavy as fukk...for a console :wtf:

edit: LOOK at this shyt :laff:

This to me feels like capitalism at its finest. I wanna know what's good with the more powerful Xbox y'all keep talking about

We will likely get that tomorrow morning.

The only thing I don't like about this new xbox is that it doesn't come in black.

Ayo. I take it that you fix xboxs? I can't get mine to read discs. I get a error whenever I put it in and hear grinding noise coming from the drive... Do you think that is something I could open up the box and fix?
