Lol @ thinking you won't be able to rent games next gen. Maybe not the model you're used to, but to think the entire practice will be erased is HIGHLY unlikely.

can you rent games on a PC? the process is pretty similar. you buy a game and have to activate it with a serial. unless Microsoft gives Gamefly and other rental outlets temp serials there will be no renting of games.

the publishers and Microsoft couldn't care less i'd bet. Microsoft sounds like they'll let you sell the game back through their eco system effectively trading in your serial for some type of credit.
