Sony played it smart, they watched M$ build up, and when they seen the reaction, they adjusted to it.
If they had the DRM situation like M$ and they pulled it, that was SMART because what's worse than one company forcing something the masses don't like down their throat? Two companies forcing something the masses don't like down their throats. Sony is doing everything they can to capitalize off M$'s bad press, and it's the smart thing to do. Why not? M$ having to renege and change stuff up just shows the impact Sony and the consumers had. If you can 1-up your console, downplay the other, and put people in your corner at the same time, why the fukk wouldn't you? The witch hunt may not be completely justified, but Sony damn sure did a good job at making people think it was.
However, Sony can't continue waiting on M$ to slip up. I hear more news about the X1 everyday, yet the PS4 still don't have a release date and I don't know of any dope looking launch PS4 games. They need to start pushing their shyt more(which I think they'll do at Gamescom) and stop relying on M$ to give them ammunition.
