What they didn't do was show a bunch of games that won't be coming any time soon.
Lets keep it real, I'm not sure people care as much about these games as the ones Sony announced. DR maybe multi-plat and Forza is a yearly franchise. The M$ conference lacked impact in general breh.

Sonys still showing games they announced 5-10 years ago, and every e3 Yall drool over the same damn games.

No. Microsoft's problem isn't console power. It's their internal studios and their inability to create new and compelling game franchises. Their second problem is their core audience is mostly dudebro gamers. Both Halo and Gears were supposed to have ended their story lines at the third entry but Microsoft said fukk it and handed both series off to other developers because they don't have anything else.
Even the stuff Remedy makes struggles to take off. A game like Heavy Rain would probably flop on the Xbox. Sony can afford to experiment more and have a more diverse lineup. Microsoft is stuck in a pattern of Halo, Gears, Forza, repeat. Nothing else really takes off over there.

So before Scorpio was official we had plenty of people on this board that wan't to buy a ps4.5 for 4k and the vr for 399-499 and the camera and motion controller.
Now "who has 4k anyway?"
Sony had a great conference they showed off 4 exclusives I personally want. Microsoft had a good conference they showed off 3 I want. Plus they are launching a new system end of next year with cross play and backwards compatibility all the way back to regular xbox.
I'll get the Scorpio more than likely and buy the time it drops most of what we saw at E3 from sony should also be dropping close to that time.

Watch when they release that price tag I can guarantee this thing is going to be close to 1000 dollars for the scorpio. Sony doesn't even need to focus on coming out with the most powerful console if they deliver games that consumers want to play they will be straight. Anyone thinking they going to be selling scorpio for 499 or 399 your outta your damn mind. It will be at minimum 599.

The contradiction from you nikkas is hilarious. The last few years it's been "1080/60" and how much more powerful the ps4 was. It was less talk about the actual games and more about the hardware. Now that Microsoft is in better hands and is about to son Sony with a more powerful console it's "let's talk about the games". Is it oochie wally or is it one mic?

They can't win. If ever they were going to win a console generation the Xbox 360 should have won but at the end of the generation was finished 3rd.
The Xbox was the most powerful console of it's generation and lost.
The Xbox 360 had superior multiplatform games in comparison to the PS3 and lost.
Power isn't their problem and never was. One of their main problems is outside the United States and a handful of other countries the Xbox brand is shyt.
In 15 years on the market they don't have a single major studio in the fold that actually matters. 343 was recently created to make Halo games after Bungie left and The Coalition was created rather recently and handles the Gears games. Microsoft basically killed any value Rare has and all they're left with is Turn 10 who most people probably don't even know by name.
Say what you will about Sony but in Naughty Dog announces a game people are checking for it just off the studio's name. Same with Sony Santa Monica same with Team ICO same with Quantic Dream and to a lesser extent Media Molecule and Sucker Punch.
Microsoft hasn't built up a single internal studio in 15 years they still have possession of that has any value. The only real studio they had was Bungie who dipped. Naughty Dog could make up a new IP right now and make a successful franchise out of it. They just created one out of nothing with The Last of Us. Who does Microsoft have in the fold that has that power?
