That is generally how most console only gamers should look at this.

Microsoft as an only console is not the way to go because they tend to have the weakest exclusives out of all gaming platforms.

You get the PS4 exclusives, you get the Xbox exclusives, you get most of the time superior PC ports.

If anything, I'd be all over Nintendo making games on PC via some service.

Gears of War 4 is very safe. It's a safe game. It's not really doing much new, it's the same game just with a few tweaks. It's not radically different like other franchises do when they switch up it up.
