When people say "It don't matter", they're not saying specs don't matter, they're saying that being the most powerful console isn't what made the PS4 get into the position it's at today. How people don't understand this simple fact is beyond me.
To me it was dumbass Don Mattrick basically nearly destroying the Xbox brand.
I would say the Xbox will struggle to get to 4K at 30 FPS 1080p 60 fps should be easy on either though. A 6 teraflop card is a 980 ti class card and it struggles to run Rise of the Tomb Raider @ 30 fps and that's paired with a 6700K which is likely far better than anything AMD is gonna provide Microsoft.
The PS4 Neo sounds like it'll have a GTX 980 class GPU in it.

Apparently there still seems to be this idea that the PS4 is where it's at today simply because it's more powerful.
No, it's more powerful because it is. It's sales success are a multitude of things which attract and generate hype, cost and value as well as having a more nostalgic advantage with brand loyalty. There were months PS4 outsold the Xbox even though the Xbox was cheaper so it wasn't the cost.
Pointing out what game is what resolution/framerate in a technical discussion is...technical discussion.
it's like someone discussing the weight/height of people and a fat person is constantly pissed off when you tell them how much they weigh and they feel like they're being bullied because of that and the other smaller people aren't.
Finally they lose weight and are slim and they're like "oh so now you aren't bullying me because I lost weight?? What? weight don't matter anymore!?! You're only popular because you're skinny!" ignoring the fact that the "skinny" person had other positive things going on for themselves.

Sony really broke MS this generation. Totally nothing like it was envisioned. Kinect requirements, no used, always online, its all gone.

3 years later and with better tech out, people are well invested into their system of choice and sales are way past "catching up" and people are like "An Xbox Scorpio isn't going to make people switch to an Xbox" and y'all take this as someone saying that power doesn't matter. We saying it wasn't because of specs people bought the PS4. y'all wanna deny that and make it something else. I didn't buy my PS4 because some games are 1080P. Lol I bought my PS4 for Uncharted and Persona. 95% of my games are bought on PC. My PC destroys the PS4 on multiplats. Why you keep deferring this argument to me is funny. Y'all just hate that people called the Xbox "Larrybox"
