And PC gamers, in general. No way this shyt can do 4k/60fps for under $1000. If it does, well my PC takes a loss, but I'll have a killer console in my collection. I'll take that.

A GTX 980 ti can do 4K 30 FPS with some sacrifices. It's a 6 teraflop card so a 6 teraflop console can probably get to 4K as well. All they're saying is it will do 4K not that it will be 60 FPS.
Microsoft's PR have been complete idiots at E3 this year. First they said Scorpio exclusive games will be up to publishers then they said there won't be exclusive games at all. First they said if you don't have 4K it's not for you then they said they won't force 4K on Scorpio games.
This is the problem with announcing a console so early out. Much of this stuff hasn't likely been nailed down.

It's a 4k console, you probably shouldn't buy one without a 4K TV.
It's just like using a 360 on a tube TV. Yeah it will work, but you are missing out on a lot of the benefit. And being that the X1 and scorpion will play the same games, there really is no reason to buy a scorpion if you don't have a 4k TV.
Now people take that quote and turn it into an official position that all games and will be 4k mandated and there won't be any framerate/graphical updates to the games.
So he has to come back with the official position and correct the dumb ass headlines.

I'm gonna keep it real. I have a 4K TV and watch 4K netflix and other shyt. You get used to it after awhile. It just becomes normal. I dunno if it's even better than 1080p upscaled. I mean, objectively it is, but once you get used to it, it's kinda 
4K becomes second nature once you watch it for a few weeks. It's...ehhhh.
Now, when it comes to PC gaming, I'm 1440p ultrawide all the way. You can easily see the difference between 1440p and 1080p on a PC monitor. Maybe it's because my monitor is like 1-2 feet in front of me. But upscaled 1080p looks pretty good. Upscaling 1080p to 4K is the shyt. Straight 4K is too, but it's not really that much of a difference (I sit far away from my TV though, so maybe that has something to do with it
