I'm curious as to when they will announce an exact release date and price for scorpio.

I had full intention on getting the slim when it's news leaked,but the announcement of Scorpio made me just say fukk it. I'm gonna just continue waiting it out until more details emerge.

I have the feeling theirs a ton of people with the same thoughts. It really was idiotic to publicly announce this so soon.

Not familiar with the rest, we'll see how it pans out. Yo forgot no mans sky, but all in all, the field is still not impressive to me, not for what the potential this new gen held going in. It's been 3 years, I feel like I should be turning my PS4 more than just once or twice every few months.

As for remasters, yeah there may be a demand for a few classics to be remastered, but not to the extent that that we are getting. With all the capabilities of what these new consoles can do, we shouldn't be getting so many, that's all I'm saying. It's oversaturated, and it just seems like these devs are taking the easy way out instead of being creative. Then they try to bang you out with DLC on top of that, I mean, is this really what people want?

And if we are talking about demand, who the fukk was demanding a new "upgraded" PS4 that's gonna cost the same as a fresh new console? Nobody.

But yeah, to be honest I outgrew gaming a while ago. I don't have the time to invest so many hours in these MP heavy games, or games like bloodborne that demand time and dedication to truly appreciate and complete. I guess I just have to take the L there, I'm just venting my disappointment because I do enjoy playing videogames when there's something catered to what I'm looking for. It seems like those days are over. Oh well

That's exactly why they announced it. So people can know what's upcoming and make a decision.

Had they waited till after the slim and announced it people would feel cheated.

Also, it's impossible to keep secrets in this industry. As soon as they sent dev kits out we woulda had all the info anyway.
