Being able to suspend your game is one of the best features of this generation. Being able to just turn off your console and pick back up where you left off without having to go through the intro again . This just takes it to the next level.

Not when most of them are online, and if you open something else and come back, will have to be re-opened to get back online (MK11, 2K)

If it's really 3+ TF with the higher being 12, that's a real delta. 25% is very real, the question is: will any multiplat game shown the real difference, or will they go for lowest common denominator? If MS is smart, Halo Infinite will have Game Of The Generation level visuals, no matter what it takes.

We don't know the official numbers yet and with the way they don't want to overprice, I just don't see it. So that's why I don't see a real difference in performance unless the XSX comes in at a higher price tag. 599 XSX is DOA if the PS5 comes in at 499. We all know this.

Part of me wants to buy an Xbox to switch it up next gen. I still got tons of ps4 games to get thru. Cop a ps5 in like 3 years when the library is wavy.

We aren't going to have to worry about baked in lighting anymore since light sources will reflect naturally. No other product has been announced to have rdna2 outside of the next xbox.
PS5 will have ray tracing too as confirmed by Mark Cerny himself. RDNA 1 doesn't have ray tracing support either. So this points to PS5 having RDNA 2 as well or at least something similar :yeshrug:

It's actually smaller than the base PS4 and Xbox One Teraflops.

Theoretical 9.2 vs 12 is a 26.4% difference.
Xbox One 1.3TF vs 1.84 is a 34.4% difference.

Not to mention the bandwidth on both are pretty much the same and they're working at a higher base resolution so a 4K or closer image will look pretty much as good as native with modern reconstruction techniques. On top of that both have the same CPU.

Look at Control's implementation on PC.

Which one is native 4K?

that's another thing, hard to tell native 4k on a pc/laptop monitor need to look at it on a tv screen.

again, the difference between both the alleged 9TF and 12TF is even smaller than the PS4 and Xbox One.

FOV is always the same on both consoles. That from what I've seen never been changeable for console games so that's not even worth bringing up. It's going to be very negligible. People just love to over exaggerate online because of fanboyish reasons. I already game on PC and seen the differences and once you're up past 1440P the differences start to get smaller.

Games on PS4 Pro like Spider-Man or God of War or UC4 has looked as good or even better than games I've played on PC. The power differences even there resulted in from CPU and higher res which cleans up the image which will not be an issue for next gen.

Microsoft swagged the fukk out because they already know Sony specs due to the partnership with the cloud. I will say Sony is 9 TFlops and late changes to memory etc.., due to cost
