That Series X GPU ain’t fukkin wit my 2080ti brotha. It’s killing the 1070 tho. shyt is gonna be a 2070 equivalent. Maybe closer to 2070 Super. And that’s great. Unless u on the high end of PC gaming the best gaming value would be a Series X over a mid tier PC unless u like customization.
The xbox will have tricks up its sleeve that'll make it more capable than just its specs alone. What exactly... NDA :patrice:
and the thing is that 12Tf is the theoretical output of the GPU. it could still be limited by power, thermal, and other factors
And what if it's not :merchant:

PS3/360 was a good value at the time of release.

They have forgotten :manny:
I've seen you post this shyt for years, and serious question, when's the last time you had your eyes checked? Those games do look great for the relative power of the PS4 Pro, but they don't compare to PC. They are 30fps, with motion blur :scust:next to no aliasing, low graphics settings, tiny FOV, short draw distance etc etc and don't look native 4k. I have two 2080ti's in SLI, a 240hz 1080p monitor, a 144hz 4k monitor, and the LG C9 Oled(the best gaming TV period) I've also owned a 1440p 165hz asus, and I can absolutely tell the difference between 4k and those lower resolutions. It's so much blurrier in comparison. I'm sure these consoles will be a nice step up, but 3TF will make a difference.
We have a winner :handshake:

For anything competitive I'm taking a high refresh rate, but for everything else resolution is more noticeable. But 60 fps minimum. I had my 1080p240hz next to a 1440p165 next to 4k144 and the 4k was easily more impressive than both. Regardless, I choose my OLED over everything and it's hdmi 2.1, so it'll do 4k120 once the new cards come out. We'll see what the TLOU2 actually looks like when we get the final build. Uncharted does not impress me nearly as much as it impresses you. I see muddy textures, terrible looking background environments, no aliasing, low frame rates. The facial animations are excellent, though.
This sounds elitist. I can't even with the muddy textures and terrible background environments? what? No aliasing?

No anti-aliasing? Wrong
Uncharted 4 delivers the best image quality we've seen in a console game to date. Even in the face of rare titles like Tearaway Unfolded, with its high quality MSAA settings, Uncharted 4 stands tall. Naughty Dog has developed a temporal anti-aliasing technique that delivers results that sometimes manage to approach the quality of a super-sampled image. Thin edges are remarkably clean, shader aliasing is almost non-existent, and shimmering is all but eliminated. Large, complex fields of detailed foliage remain razor sharp even at a distance while finer details on Nate's weapons remain clearly visible. We noted similarities to the hybrid-reconstruction anti-aliasing used in Far Cry 4 but we cannot say for sure how this was achieved. Perhaps Naughty Dog will share more information on this in the future, as the results are stunning and this technique could benefit console games as a whole.
Tech Analysis: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

The developer hands in state-of-the-art image quality on both systems thanks to an excellent temporal anti-aliasing solution that all but eliminates shimmering and jagged edges. The base PS4 delivers a native 1080p, but the situation on Pro is less clear. A ballpark 1440p is our best estimate here, but pixel-counting produces variable counts. It averages out to around 1440p as expected, but some areas came up with results beyond this, while others were below. It's difficult to say if we're looking at a dynamic resolution here or if it's simply a case of post-processing passes or temporal AA interfering with pixel-counting. Either way, the end result is still an improved presentation on 4K screens, virtually artefact-free but a touch soft owing to the inevitable upscaling, and downsampling is supported for users with 1080p displays.

muddy textures?
Texture work remains highly refined from the richly detailed mud and stone textures used across the ruins to the depiction of skin and fabric - the quality is on par with Uncharted 4 itself.

God of War "muddy textures"
This is enhanced by excellent texture work. The new PBR system helps to create more natural environments - stone work appears suitably rough with light scattering in more directions than smooth materials such as shiny floors. Specular highlights are used to great effect in combination with materials to create surfaces that appear realistic yet still fantastical. And that's actually a perfect description of the game world; many scenes appear startlingly realistic while others push into the world of fantasy. The leaves and mud puddles early in the game resemble a forest one might stumble upon in real-life but later environments feel almost otherworldly at times.

I think you're just a little biased against consoles and at the same time are justifying your PC set up which is very expensive by touting you have X amount of monitors and dual 2080 TI's... Nothing wrong with that but really it's no need to put downplay a game's graphics on a console just to big up PC.
I can enjoy my PC gaming and point out the benefits whilst still giving credit to a good looking console game. It doesn't mean I'm saying a PS4 is holding it's own in general to a high end PC. :hubie:

Cool, I just remember you making threads about uncharted 4 looking better than any PC game. And you're in here talking about 3 teraflops doesn't mean much. I have a ps4 pro and I've played all of these games. You can make quotes for days but I can literally open them right now and see blurry textures with jagged edges and low frames with jarring motion blur. I'll be copping a ps5 day one just in case bloodborne gets enhanced. I'm just saying when I watch this video, this is the game I remember, and not some revolutionary graphical show piece.

I can't wait until we see actual next gen games made with this power in mind. I've been dying to see the jump with these new CPUs.
A RTX 2080 TI with an i9 processor can play Modern Warfare at over 120FPS with ray tracing at 3440x1440(Ultra-wide).

This is blissfully buttery I can't believe it's not butter smooth.

A Xbox Series X and PS5 should be able to do this no issue.

Currently I'm ignorant on current gaming specs/gpus. To build a powerful gaming PC with high settings usually cost more than a home gaming console. Why do you say next gen will be able to do this when priced at half or a bit less than half a stack? We're hearing ps5 cost to manufacture is $450. Doesn't make sense when a powerful gpu is nearly that price.

So the cloud can essentially help power the series s, series x, xbox one even.

The cloud makes the series s on par if not superior to the ps5. The series x stands alone as the most capable
How? Isn't cloud justfor storage?

The retail rates for GPUs has no relation to what Sony and Microsoft are paying.

AMD doesn’t even have a gaming CPU response to the i9 9900k. And their best CPU’s cost more than these consoles will ALONE. Lol. And their GPU’s aren’t fukking with a 2080ti performance wise. Not even close. Lol. To say they should have “no problem” is being disingenuous.

You don't think a Zen 2 8 core AMD CPU and a RTX 2070~2080 equivalent GPU in the new consoles will achieve 4K 60fps or 1440P 120fps? Cost has no bearing on console build. MSFT/SONY aren't going to newegg and buying a RTX 2080 Super.

I mean on paper the XsX's GPU is a tad bit faster than 2080 Super.
