NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
I just bought a 5700 XT for testing purposes and that shyt is pretty nice for the cost(was $322 open box). Since this card is 9.75 TF and the one in the series X is going to be 12TF and from rumors the PS4 the same or even better then it's going to be pretty damn good for launch. This card can easily play 4k/60fps game even like AC Origins. I was able to play at 60fps with no issues at 100% high settings unlike my 1070 which I had to put down to like 75% to hit around 40~45fps. At 100% it was around 30~40. Division 2 ran full 4K 60fps with no drops whereas same settings on a 1070 netted me around 40~48fps.
Yea bro that 5700XT is a dope card. Like I said before these consoles are gonna be able to do some amazing things. But these 3000 series cards are gonna be something else entirely. A 1070 is essentially bit more powerful than the One X. It’s that generation. The 20 series cards are already 2 years old and the Series X aint even gonna be better than the best ones of those. I suggest u hold off on getting a card until the 3000 series comes out. Or atleast save that money u spent on the 5700 XT and cop a PS5 or Series X.

That 5700XT was just for testing. I'm not keeping it. i was testing to see if my monitor or my 1070 is the one giving me this issue where the screen gets distoreted/goes black randomly. It also came with free games(RE3, Monster Hunter and X Game pass 3 months) so it was a steal. I'm waiting to see what's up with the 3000 cards of the Navi 21 cards. Something for $400 max is what I'm aiming for and I'm already content with the 5700XT performance so a card that's around that price but better is a no brainer.

U don’t know anything about PC gaming fam. By the time the 3000 series cards come out it’s already leaving these new consoles in the dust.[/SIZE][/B] A 3070 is gonna wreck either one. Until next time. A really good thing is the power of this Series X is definitely gonna move graphic fidelity into another generation. The things these developers are gonna be able to pull off with these consoles is gonna be amazing.
That's cool and all but your original stance was the series x wasn't gonna come close to the 2080 which has been proven false so you're not as knowledgeable as you are hopeful :francis:

If you wanna switch gears and go full pc retard, well you sir are too much of a stan to see things clearly. Im not wrong, minimal gains is real. PC being advanced in that area would be the first ones to be affected by that. Are you aware of this subject matter at all sir? Maybe somebody who dapped you would like to take a stab?

Meanwhile, this 3000 line of cards will perform better, and only cost you $2500 to play :picard: but hey, there's rumors it'll be cheaper even tho coronavirus shutting shyt down.

In a couple years the xbox series x-2 will have better graphics than the 4080 now what :umad:

Some PC enthusiasts keep moving the goal posts when it comes to next gen console speculation and facts.

At first, it was that they wouldn’t have SSDs(not only do they have SSDs they seem to have very fast SSDs), then it was about not having ray tracing, then it was TF expectations. Its getting tiring. Instead of debating about visuals and loading speeds PC players/hardware enthusiasts should just focus on the customizability and potential mods that only PCs can provide.

When it comes to power expectations, Xbox Series X came thru and crushed the buildings.

Currently by all estimations the Series X has a GPU closest to a Geforce 2080 Super. Maybe a little better or maybe a little worse, but that’s probably the best comparison.

The Geforce 2080 Super launched last year and is currently $700+. Even if Series X launches at $600, it would offer value over a comparable PC build while still offering high performance that was better than most people expected leading into this generation.

It really shows you that no matter how much power these consoles launch with, there will be a group saying that its not enough/PC is more powerful, some new card is coming soon etc.

The reality is that Series X is plenty powerful for 2020 and its up to publishers and developers to really show us what they will do with it.

Just enjoy the games.

All this power, teraflop shyt won’t matter one bit, when both manufacturers start releasing games with incredible graphics and gameplay. The only reason why they’re such a hot topic right now is because we have nothing else to talk about.

The PS4 has like 1.8TF yet coming up with amazing looking games like Uncharted 4, FFVII remake and God of war, imagine what it could do with 9.2 TF.

Eh Microsoft and phil spencer have proven over the past decade they just care about hardware specs and not the actual games.

Its so much untapped potential out there for games yet we keep getting halo, gears and forza from these guys.

They can even go back to the rare bucket with perfect dark, kameo 2, maybe a zelda competitor, a gta competitor, saints row exclusive maybe? Naw they just buy up studios and let stuff collect dust.

There was no reason to cancel scalebound. Yet we get trash like sea of thieves. They need to get back to their roots with the OG xbox from 2001 or xbox 360 and get some quality exclusive games out there.

And to all yall trashing PC remember xbox and pc are not competitors. They exist in the same ecosystem and all the titles can be played on each other. Also PC will always be the gold standard as the games are developed on them first and then moved over to console during deployment.
