I mean a major sony exclusive dropped this month and people settled not only for a Xbox but a series s, is what your telling me?

there are people who have been trying for montsh and have given up on getting a series x or ps5. I dont know a single person or have seen anyone online say they are having problems finding a series S. The exact opposite and from my own observations i could have gotten one by now if i wanted just from being around on drops looking for other things.

The GamesBeats Decides podcast spoke on this and Jeff Grubb's conclusion as to why Microsoft sold so many consoles in June makes more sense than anything I'm seeing in here from either side of this conversation.

Microsoft strategically allocated a lot of units to NA during June because they had intentions of having a Big E3 this year. To put it simply, Micorosoft had the most revenue on their patform last month because they took E3 seriously while Sony decided to not participate. Sony will probably do the same whenever they have their next big State of Play or whatever they have planned.
