What would he have to do with this. I'm not arguing the validity of reviews found online for a million random sites. I'm asking you, how can you say A is better than B without having tried them both, and why would you take the opinion of a person you don't speak with over the opinion of a person you do speak with?

This is where I think we are arguing semantics more than anything. Because to me, if a person says "The Witcher 3 is game of the year" I'm interpreting that as after playing all the other games in the running for game of the year, you have formed the opinion that the Witcher 3 is better than all those other games.

Well the only game I have not played on that list in our GOTY thread was Tomb raider. I've played and completed all the other games on that list, so I felt pretty comfortable with my vote. Go check the vote thread and the majority of people who voted have not played or completed most of the game they voted against.

I agree. Which is why I say I think we are arguing semantics sometimes more than the actual games. I think in the arcadium, people take GOTY as "What's you favorite game this year". I read it as " What was the best game this year". Very similar but completely different.

I dont think MS gave a real fukk about tomb raider. They just wanted to throw money around to prop up their system to win the holiday. Theirs nothing wrong with that strategy at all,this is a business after all. They simply wanted to stack the deck for the holidays with as many titles as possible. This has been their strategy for years now. They didnt care if games undersold because their was so much competition.

No one said its the best game ever. But had you boys actually played it you would have seen what I've seen. Its a fantastic game and at this point into the game I haven't been able to find a single thing to complain about.

Yea u do, you might not like the story but like the gameplay or vice versa. Uncharted gets the benefit of it being 3 games already so people know what they are in for
