The way I see it... Xbox one owners and aplogists are resting or was resting their laurels on this one game, and it is kind of a failure... Once this game fades into oblivion then what. Do they gonna really think Halo 2 HD rerelease will be a savior of a failing system or better yet Halo 5? Which is it? I thought titanfall was gonna be the savior of the xbox one?

Titanfall may have outsold infamous, yeah but let's be certain. Those are combined numbers... from 3 platforms... infamous has sold 1 million world wide, what are titanfall's worldwide numbers for the xbox one again???

Microsoft is very quiet right now... The future is not looking to bright for them, their gimmicks cant save them, their weak system infrastructure cant help them, people are already jumping to PS4 in mass numbers daily, I dont hate the xbox brand. I own a 360... I hate their unbridled arrogance at thinking the gamers would buy titanfall like it was crack,..... it wasnt.

Regardless of the fact of genre or whatever.. It's the highest budget for a ps4 game and it got outsold.

Big budget shooter on multiple platforms, on multiple consoles (cloud isn't required for 360 OR PC)

Should logically always outperform a niche action title on one console

Personally I think titanfall is a dope ass game, but smarten up dawg

1.) The cloud isn't required for 360 or PC. You do know you pretty much disqualified yourself from the conversation at this point. So the rest is gonna get reeeeeeal ugly bruh

2.) Titanfall on XB1 in the US alone outsold Infamous on PS4 worldwide, even tho it has a smaller install base. BattyboyB then said XB1 has only sold 1.3million copies of GAMES this entire new gen

Since Infamous sold like shyt, Titanfall wouldn't have sold much better. In fact, PS gamers are content with Killzone

There's limited cloud functionality on 360 I believe but you don't need to be in a country "near cloud servers" an internet connection is all that's needed. You bring up how it's online only like call of duty makes it's sales from people wanting to play the campaign

The NPD Group has revealed the top ten best-selling games in the United States for the month of March.

Total software sales for the month reached $432 million, with hardware sales increasing 3% since March 2013 to achieve $1.025 billion.

The top-selling games from March 3 to April 5 are, in order:

• Titanfall (XBO, PC)**
• inFAMOUS Second Son (PS4)**
• South Park: The Stick Of Truth (360, PS3, PC)**
• Call Of Duty: Ghosts (360, PS4, PS3, XBO, NWU, PC)**

Titanfall is the second-highest selling Xbox One game, and Vita saw a sales spike thanks to Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster.

On the PC side, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls led in both dollars earned and units sold.

Earlier this week Sony celebrated 7 million PlayStation 4 sales.

Microsoft announced that Xbox One has shipped 5 million units, meaning the new machine is "outpacing Xbox 360 by more than 60 percent at the same point in time." Xbox One sold 311,000 units in March, with Xbox 360 selling another 111,000.

Consumers purchased 1.4 million Xbox One games in March, bringing the software attach rate to 2.9 games per Xbox One owner.

Look at the games that competed.. its a no brainer which two games would lead the charts
What wasn't expected was with a 2million console lead, and no new titles to compete with a highly sought after game (infamous)
You'd think PS gamers would have bought Infamous more just because of circumstances (no food)

From what ive seen here they actually pushed back the release of the 360 version to force buyers to cop the xbox one version thus boosting their numbers but the xbots here on the board claim it's heresay....
