I still can't get over the ether that Rex gave Nia. It was that Han Solo type shyt.

Got my levels maxed and a lot of the affinity charts for my blades maxed. I kicked the shyt out of the last few unique monsters. Like they were kind of a joke honestly. The hardest one for me all game was level 109 Pernicious Benf in Temperantia. Took me many tries to beat him. I beat the level 130 Tyrannotitan on my first try after I was maxed out.
Trying to get these blade quests triggered and finished. I was thinking of finishing all the affinity charts for the blades but some of them require an unreal amount of grinding for stupid shyt. Like making 100 dumpling with Vess. Also, I'm still missing Zenobia. Game just won't give her to me :yeshrug:

I got her easy but I was still missing about 7-8 blades by the end. One of them was the Poppi I refused to put the time into getting. I wanted Kos-Mos but could never get her. When New Game+ gets released and if they let you carry over all unlocked blades I might replay and try to get more.

Yes, a lot of people think that looks a lot like New L.A. and seeing how this game is, I feel it's absolutely intentional. I do not think it is that same New L.A. though, just that it looks similar for a reason.

Which one did you pick?
I picked Mythra. Some things actually change depending on who you pick. I think it's all cutscenes related though.
Pneuma is actually my favorite design of the 3 though.

Regarding Chapter 8

Its definitely NOT New LA. In XCX, we know what aliens caused whatever went down on Earth, not rebels. Also Mira is.... Mira has a lot of shyt going on lol. Its much more likely that its a parallel of the Earth from Xenosaga

It's certainly not the same New LA from XCX but it can be an alternate version. Doesn't have to be the same one. We've already established parallel universes with this entry. I think the similarities were deliberate.

I mean, that is possible its just that XCX had a lot more to do with the alien stuff than I think people remember. Even the idea of a space elevator in that world OR Mira is kinda scratched because Ganglion and a third race were battling over Earth when this convergence occurred. Plus it was stated a few times that no one could leave Mira too. I think there's room for a link, but it has to respect the space elevator stuff if they're going to make that the central point for all this starting out.

If there's a XCX connection, it has to be far, far into the future. According to Perfect Works, they weren't even at a point where they could transport the Zohar until much further down the timeline. There's also a pretty big deal made about how they don't even know what's going on back on Earth in XS for a while.

Then you've got the Zohar emulator stuff that could be referenced a couple of times with the transport in XCX and the Aegises themselves.

I picked the original because that's the true identity of it.

Poppi was easily my favorite character of the game. That moment at the end she damn near broke me.
