If that cablebox loses this month (which it shouldn't) then they might go nuclear mode

titanfall was hyped to be a system seller, which is is/was, but they shot themselves in the foot by not making it an xbox1 exclusive...so they didnt move as units as they possibly could have....so even if they lost march, dont think they going nuclear cause of the fact it wasnt truly exclusive to the 1...

if they do go nuclear, they not gonna offer a kinectless version...its too integrated into the system to just throw it aside...them going nuclear would be eating a huge price drop, say like $150 off...or them offering a bundle with 2+ free games/a live membership...

yea, integrated into the system...it's one of the main features of the system, you can do a lot of shyt through it....that's why we wont see a version without it.....also, dont be fooled by the recent marketing for the system, that shyt was never about the games...sony wanted to be an accessary in the living/entertainment room, ms wanted to take that shyt over, that's why the 1 is so heavy with non gaming shyt...they've said this from the beginning....they dont view the 1 as a video game console, it's an entertainment center....that shyt just plays games as a bonus...

im willing to bet they will remove the kinect. it can be patched to do without it, and a lack of compatibility with some launch games is worth preventing sony from completely running away with this generation. the guy running xbox is different now, and "entertainment" is proving to not be helping them accomplish anything. as it stands now, the problem is not solvable - sony will absolutely win this generation.

if kinect has value, it should be able to stand alone as a product that is sold separately to enhance both consoles and PCs. windows media center should be running this thing.

They would've been better off selling the kinect separately. That way those who wanted it could rationalize it as something they can buy "later" such as the PS camera. That shyt sold over 900k and Sony barely marketed it as an integral feature.

the hardware is still inferior to ps4, so costing the same with a kinect just is not going to move enough units to make up for the gap. they could drop kinect and sell the xb1 at 350 and really shake things up.

I can understand that but I think if they throw kinect in the bushes it really negates getting a xbone.

not if it is at a lower price than the ps4, has a steady flow of games coming out in the near future, and is demonstrably better than the last generation

Let me just start by saying I ain't with them console wars what so ever, owned a 360 and bought a PS3 for that free online

But this fact alone breh, not even a year in and someone who paid release price is already like "damn, coulda waited"
