Target is selling games b2g1 I guess all games are flopping :beli:

if you are really comparing this companies promotion to the constant price drops and free content Microsoft is doing across the board to move systems you are dumber than I thought....either that or so much denial that you just try and come up with reasoning and theories to back up your dumb a$$ arguments lol...WTF:mindblown:

So you think Microsoft is taking an even bigger loss per console just cause they can?

That Target deal is a sales driver promotion. They still make a profit off buy 2 get one free.

I could give two fukks either way. I'm just saying the retailers/Microsoft did this for a reason. Either to get a bigger user-base, or to increase sales to what they anticipated. Do you disagree?

This price drop has nothing to do with Microsoft. This is target lowering the prices of its products to get a advantage over their competitors. For whatever reason they are making a push torwards selling games this month so they have various different promotions accross the board. No matter what you buy if you spend a certain amount of money on gaming at target you will save ~$50

I guess actual investors are delusional too huh?

But those "business periodicals" you like to read on Fool.com from random bloggers using statements from random forum posters are always on point :ohlawd:

How is target taking advantage of a price drop to get leverage when Walmart and Best Buy has the price low too?
Also explain this

Why would the manufacturer(MSFT) restrict how they show their prices?? If this was simply not "about MSFT" then this wouldn't be a thing. The price isn't reflected in any circular or ads but yet this has nothing to do with MSFT to you... My goodness are you delusional.
But everything is going according to plan though. :obama:

No one said it's bad. But it is clearly an indication of under performing sales at retailers. Why else would such an early sale be happening?

Have you known companies to randomly slash prices of product selling well?
It was too expensive to begin with. The price should be officially cut. They can't sell that system at a $100 premium with nothing worthwhile to justify it and expect it to sell like crazy. At least they're dropping the price here. Back when the PS3 was flopping they just let it stay the same price a while.

Wal mart dropped the price first, then other retaliers followed suit in order to compete. Just recently target added the 12month XBL card for added insentive. It's called price wars, it happens in retail all the time.

Logic escapes you stans sometimes :heh:

You're only proving my point here. The price drops are not set by Microsoft
