There have been price drops and promotions on ps4. People just don't run here and circle jerk about them

I just checked all the major retailers and they all had the system going for the original launch price of $399. For all the pushing on video games Target is doing they have the system are regular price as well.

Wal mart dropped the price first, then other retaliers followed suit in order to compete. Just recently target added the 12month XBL card for added insentive. It's called price wars, it happens in retail all the time.

Why would the manufacturer(MSFT) restrict how they show their prices?? If this was simply not "about MSFT" then this wouldn't be a thing. The price isn't reflected in any circular or ads but yet this has nothing to do with MSFT to you... My goodness are you delusional.

Logic escapes you stans sometimes :heh:

You're only proving my point here. The price drops are not set by Microsoft
This happens to a lot of things that are priced below MSRP. Happens with TVs all the time.

I don't know if there are any current promotions. But there have been plenty of ps4 discounts since launch.

it did happen in the UK. He's right about this one
"plenty" of price cuts :usure:

Not to mention this was a retailer decision at one store in one country.

"The online branch of the retailer is selling consoles for £329.97, which is £20 below the retail price seen elsewhere of £349.99. It's worth noting that this isn't an official price drop announced by Sony."

But either way, the price drop actually is good news. One more X1 price drop I may pick it up. That game where you can create your own games

Yeah, it was a stretch for him to say "plenty"

Price drops are good. But they are not good for Microsoft. They just keep losing. I dunno how any sane person can stan M$ that much. How can one not see these losses?

Other U.K. Retailers followed suit with their own promotions.

There were also discounts on the infamous bundle at retailers around the world.

There have been plenty of discounts on ps4 products.

And retailers discounting the products is no "loss" for Microsoft. They still get the same amount of money and their product gets a boost in sales. Sounds like a W to me.

Only in Sony Stan land is being able to meet demand and react to sales trends considered a "loss"

I had to google that discount for you, and it was a stretch to call the discounts "plenty" :usure:

It's a loss because there is no way a new system should be $170 off in less than a year. No way. M$ is hurting retailers, which will hurt them in the future. There's no way around that. If retailers are taking a loss then they will buy fewer xbones in the future. Which will of course hurt microsoft

Like where? I don't remember seeing any news about PS4's coming with free 12 month PS Plus cards and bundled games for $400 lately.
