IIRC somebody in another Gibbs thread said he was in some special type of deal with Jeezy where he was with them for a short period of time to catch a buzz and then by the time that was up ideally Gibbs would have people bidding for him or he could resign with a favorable solo deal...the contract had a special name for it but I forgot...Unlucky for Gibbs though his profile probably fell in that time period so he just walked and had no new offers

He also said Meek and Wale had the same thing before officially signing deals with MMG...I know someone remembers that
