That was still back in the "this is a mixtape not an album" era. This list has released legit major label debut albums months ago.

They've changed the criteria so much that now it doesn't have any. It used to be you couldn't have released a major label album.

Half of the list been dropped major label albums and aren't really freshmen at all.

Rod Wave just dropped the deluxe to his album. NLE Choppa just dropped his album last week. Polo G just sold 90k first week. Yeah most these nikkas ain't freshman. I guess the list was decided a while ago and with Covid the shyt came out late

Why did I know mulatto would make it in rap smh. I watched the rap game and she was one of the worst of the series yet I know she would make it. A rapper named Mulatto lol
